PRESS RELEASE:

Fingerprint Web Concepts, a specialty content, development and marketing company is a two-time finalist in the 2002 NYTimes.com Ad Innovation Awards Contest, a competition to create campaigns for Surround Sessions, which enable a single advertiser to control every major ad position across a number of pages in a user's session. Fingerprint owners Peter and Jennifer Wipf created two six page campaigns, one for Swiss International Airlines, known simply as "Swiss," and one for Teak888, an Asian antiques, furnishings and accessories line based in New York. Only two entries were allowed per company, and Fingerprint Web Concepts was the only contestant to have both their entries make it to the finals.

"We're very excited about the ads we created," says Peter Wipf. "NYTimes.com asked for something that was daring, that pushed the limits, that hasn't been done before, and that's what we came up with."

"These ads reflect one of many styles--from conservative to risque--that we work with," says Jennifer. "What your Web site has to offer should be as individual as a fingerprint," she stresses, "and that's our goal."

The Wipfs and their team strive to help you take advantage of the Internet in "new, strategic and individual ways," and will develop a site designed to attract new customers and keep existing ones happy. They provide site plans, editorial and promotional copy, e-commerce setups, design, PR and marketing services. Describing themselves as "innovative, professional Net junkies," the company is also striving to keep the public informed about where the Web is going and how companies and individuals can take advantage of the market.
